    Director of Marketing - Chicago - 

    High impact – senior leadership – “move the needle” – opportunity with a fast growth established startup with serious VC funding.  

    You understand  and  enjoy both high level strategy and in the trenches execution.   This is a fast paced and high accountability culture that is also fun and rewarding – it’s all about the customer experience.  This is not “corporate” – this is take an idea and run with it!  Define marketing strategy for the company and lead the execution in the retail and e-commerce space.  

    Drive the revenue growth in multi-channel sectors:  increase the conversion rates, the average size orders, lifetime value while controlling customer acquisition costs.  Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns with a strong story and consistent brand voice.  

    Manage the lead generation and the direct response for SEM, SEO, Display, Affiliate and Social channels.   Optimize the resources to generate ROI and “good spend”. 

     

    Experience:

    Manager of Advertising - Chicago

    This is a great opportunity to manage an outstanding team, interact with senior leadership and use your creativity.  You will be leading the Advertising for this very important group to develop and launch campaigns that make the brand stand out.  

    Lead creative inhouse and external agencies to develop the advertising plans and drafts.  Your team shapes the strategic plans and marketing strategies working with the internal product team, digital, social and corporate marketing.  

    Work very closely with the agency partners to develop new advertising and tactics and media opportunities.  Analytics are important – oversee the tracking and analysis of the performance data to measure effectiveness – what is working? 
    Where can we improve? 

     Strong partnership role with internal and external stakeholders.  Very visible with senior leadership.  

    You are a storyteller and know how to communicate – back it up with a strategic framework, data, presentations, PowerPoint.  You know how to get up in front of senior leadership and promote your vision.  Gather and analyze data to gain insight into what is working and develop recommendations for optimizing marketing effectiveness.   

    Manage the creation of online and offline marketing communications – advertising. 

     

    Experience:

     

    BS – MBA a plus.  Minimum of 7 years of marketing or brand with a big emphasis on digital.  Agency experience is very important – ideal is a mix of agency and client side.  

    Management and leadership of a team of high performers – this is a strong mentorship role. 

    Understanding of how digital media is purchased, managed and measured.  You have set KPI’s and have a track record of getting the most out of digital investments. 


    Econometric modeling, multi-touch, programmatic that all drive results is a plus.

    This is an exciting time to join this group within this financial services organization (mortgage credit)– this is the only division of the company that has the opportunity to get a very broad view of what is happening – great impact and visibility both internally and externally. 

    You will be representing the marketing desk providing quality information to support business priorities, initiatives and the fixed-income products.

    Develop and example the quantitative and qualitative research and analysis for domestic and international investors.  Develop targeted marketing plans for fixed-income products and identify fixed-income investors. 

    Develop the presentation and educational research materials for investors and market participants of fixed-income products

    Manage investor relations with institutional investors, researchers and dealers. 

    Define, Design and implement the digital strategy solutions and the content management strategies to enhance end user experience.

    Experience –
